PAUL ANDERSON

Paul Anderson is an Anesthesiologist at St. Anthony’s Hospital in downtown St. Petersburg. He grew up in Southwest Florida and went to the University of Florida where he received Bachelors in Health Science. He proceeded to go to medical school at The Ohio State College of Medicine. He then finished his Anesthesia Training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He knew Southwest Florida was home, and returned to St. Petersburg in the summer of 2015. He has helped contribute to community care through his membership at the Pinellas County Medical Society, The Florida Medical Association, and the Florida Society of Anesthesiology Legislative Affairs Committee. He continues to be an active Big Brother with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and is often accompanied by his dog Akston, a 5 year old German Shepherd.

After practicing in the community for three years, he and a close group of friends saw persistent gaps in in care in various communities and felt we could make a difference, and thus we launched the Corinthian’s Project to help reach areas of need in the Tampa Bay metropolitan area.
